Women’s Clinic of Lincoln, PC is pleased to announce that Andrea Davis, APRN, CCRC (pictured right) has earned the formal recognition of clinical research professionals by becoming a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). All research coordinators at Women’s Clinic hold this prestigious designation which validates ones clinical research knowledge, skills, and application. “This accomplishment sets us apart,” says Hannah Hernandez, Director of Clinical Research “and makes our team of coordinators a valuable asset to companies that are selecting a site to conduct a study.” Davis’s unique skillset adds value to her study patients as she can complete the study visit as well as any related exams. Davis also provides gynecologic and obstetric care to patients two days a week.
Women’s Clinic has been conducting clinical trials for 18 years. Each coordinator works closely with national pharmaceutical companies following a rigorous protocol testing the effectiveness and safety of medications. Each study conducted at the office is overseen by Dr. Stephen Swanson, Dr. James Maly or Dr. Svjetlana Dziko who all hold a certification with ACRP. Currently, the research department is recruiting patients who suffer with IBS, diabetes, endometriosis, fibroids, endometriosis, inability to achieve orgasm, vaginal dryness or patients looking for a new birth control option or a new infant formula. Qualified participants of a study receive study related exams, tests and medication at no charge. To learn more about the clinical research department, log on to www.womensclinicoflincoln.com.
