TABITHA REPEATS AS RECIPIENT OF GOVERNOR’S WELLNESS AWARD
Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, is proud to be recognized as a 2014 Governor’s Wellness Award recipient by Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman. The organization was among 50 Nebraska companies set apart by excellence in employee wellness programming and celebrated at a luncheon earlier this month.
The Governor’s Wellness Award was created in 2007 to recognize Nebraska employers that have developed successful models for encouraging wellness at work. Tabitha’s award-winning company culture includes an essential focus on employee wellness and life balance. As part of this commitment, the organization offers monthly wellness challenges, health-focused educational seminars, and free access to Tabitha’s on-site health clinic and fitness gym for employees and their families, to name a few.
“Tabitha places a high priority on encouraging physical and emotional health among our teams,” said Angie Cardwell, APRN and Tabitha’s director of wellness. “It is part of what allows us to fulfill our mission of compassion in providing exceptional care to Elders. Employee wellness benefits the individual as well as the company, and we are honored to once again be a recipient of this award.”
As a nonprofit organization serving 28 Nebraska counties, Tabitha’s love embraces a society where everyone is valued and empowered to live life to the fullest, with compassionate at-home support, innovative living communities, exceptional rehabilitation, health care and hospice services.
