TABITHA HOSPICE RECOGNIZED BY LINCOLN HOMELESS COALITION
Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, is proud to have been recognized recently by the Lincoln Homeless Coalition for the expert, compassionate, end-of-life care provided through Tabitha Hospice.
The Lincoln Homeless Coalition exists to heighten awareness and develop a community-wide commitment to the needs and issues surrounding individuals and families who are near or experiencing homelessness. The award presented to Tabitha recognizes individuals and organizations displaying “ongoing support and commitment to addressing homelessness in [the Lincoln] community.”
“Tabitha Hospice is honored to play a role in the prevention of homelessness and the care of those who are near or experiencing homelessness,” said Kadi Holmberg, psychosocial services director, Tabitha Hospice. “As a non-profit, for-purpose, Christian-centered organization, it is our duty and privilege to support older adults and their families, particularly those in need, throughout the aging journey—up to and including at the end of life.”
Tabitha team members Karen Cheesman, Alison White and Cathy Nichols were specifically recognized as having played major roles in the delivery of care garnering the award.
