Bryan NICU Reunion
Since opening in 2008, the Bryan Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has cared for nearly 3,400 babies. The Bryan NICU Reunion is a chance for families and their babies to reunite with doctors, nurses and other care providers to celebrate life and show how their tiny babies have grown. Over 500 families are expected to attend.

Media interviews will be available with Dr. Albert Owusu-Ansah, neonatologist and Laurie Ketterl, nurse manager for the Bryan NICU. Video and photo opportunities will also be available with former NICU babies and their families.

Bryan Kids’ Club Health and Safety Fair
The Bryan Kids’ Club Health and Safety Fair is an honored tradition involving community organizations, businesses and the highly popular Bryan Health Kids’ Club. The annual event entertains hundreds of children with fun activities with a health and safety focus. Over 2,200 individuals are expected to attend.

Activities include:

  • Meet and greet with Lincoln Saltdogs players (4:30-5:30 p.m.)
  • Over 30 interactive health and safety activities
  • Bounce houses and photo booth

In addition to the Bryan Kids’ Club Health and Safety Fair pre-game festivities, families will see the Lincoln Saltdogs take on the Laredo Lemurs at 6:35 p.m. A lucky Kids’ Club participant will be selected to throw out the first pitch and fans can also enjoy a fireworks show at the conclusion of the game.

Media interviews will be available with Bryan Health employees and Kids’ Club participants. Video and photo opportunities include children at the interactive activities, families meeting Lincoln Saltdogs players and a Kids’ Fair participant throwing out the first pitch.
